Kforce's client is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Leasing Manager to join their on-site office team in Baltimore, MD. The manager will oversee daily tasks and supervise leasing professionals to ensure high occupancy and renewal rates. Responsibilities include team communication, mentoring, setting sales goals, assigning paperwork, preparing reports, implementing policies, analyzing leasing reports, forecasting occupancy, tracking advertising, identifying vacancy issues, and updating websites. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of residential leasing management experience and strong market knowledge.

Must Have

  • Manage daily tasks and supervise leasing professionals
  • Ensure high occupancy of rental units and high renewal rate
  • Communicate effectively with the team through weekly meetings
  • Mentor leasing team members and oversee ongoing on-site training
  • Provide clear instructions and set sales goals
  • Assign leasing paperwork
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports by deadlines
  • Implement policies and procedures, including lease renewal and retention programs
  • Analyze weekly leasing reports and forecast occupancy trends
  • Track advertising, promotions, and publications
  • Identify vacancy issues
  • Update websites and local advertising, and monitor internet traffic results
  • 4+ years of residential leasing management experience
  • Strong knowledge of current market and submarket conditions
  • Ability to complete monthly market surveys and run daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly leasing reports
  • Experience in leading and motivating staff members
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both staff and residents

Job Description

Kforce's client is in search of a dedicated and dynamic Leasing Manager who will be an integral part of their on-site office team in Baltimore, MD. Summary: The Leasing Manager will be responsible for managing daily tasks and supervising a group of leasing professionals to ensure high occupancy of rental units and a high renewal rate. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in our community and who brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the team. Key duties of the Leasing Manager will include:

  • Communicating effectively with the team through weekly meetings
  • Mentoring leasing team members and overseeing ongoing on-site training

  • Assigning leasing paperwork
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports by deadlines

Requirements

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
